What We Collect
We collect information that is reasonably necessary for responding to enquiries, processing quote and order requests, arranging delivery, supporting products, improving the website, and protecting the website from misuse.
Contact and enquiry details
- Name, business name, email address, phone number, postal or delivery address, suburb, state, postcode and country.
- Product part numbers, product names, quantities, notes, support messages, order enquiry details and uploaded or submitted information you choose to provide.
- Communication preferences, including whether you opted in to cart reminders or asked us to remember your contact details on this browser.
Shopping cart and online ordering details
- Draft cart contents, product identifiers, part numbers, prices displayed at the time, quantity, freight code, freight readiness status and expiry dates.
- Submitted quote or order request snapshots, including product, price, freight, delivery and contact details as they appeared when the request was submitted.
- Freight information needed to arrange or estimate delivery, including delivery postcode, delivery address, residential or business delivery type when requested, product dimensions, product weights, freight services and freight quote results.
- Order and delivery communications needed to confirm availability, confirm freight, arrange dispatch, follow up about your order, handle warranty/support matters and resolve delivery issues.
Payment details
- If online payment is enabled, card processing will be handled by a payment provider such as Stripe. We do not intend to store full card numbers or card security codes on this website.
- If you provide credit card details to us manually, we enter those details directly into an EFTPOS terminal or payment facility for that transaction. We do not store or keep manual credit card details on file after processing the original transaction. Any temporary written or electronic record used only to process that transaction is permanently destroyed as soon as the transaction has been successfully completed.
- We may store payment status, transaction identifiers, payment provider references, payment method type, partial card details supplied by the provider, receipt status, refund status and related order records.
Technical and security details
- IP address, browser and device details, user agent, referrer, requested URLs, timestamps, cookies, session identifiers, rate-limit events, spam-protection signals and public form event logs.
- Admin audit, security and diagnostic logs needed to operate the website and investigate misuse, delivery failures or technical problems.

Cookies and Remembered Details
The shopping cart uses a secure browser cookie to resume a draft cart on the same browser. The cookie contains an opaque token, not your product list or contact details.
If you turn on Remember my contact details, we store your contact details server-side and place a separate opaque token in your browser. That token lets this website prefill cart contact fields on the same browser. It does not create a customer account, does not work across different browsers or devices, and can be cleared from the cart page.
The remember-details toggle is off by default. If you leave it off, we do not create or renew the remembered-contact token.
Who We Share Information With
We share information only where reasonably needed to operate the business, process your request, comply with law, or protect the website.
- Freight and courier providers, including Australia Post and FedEx/TNT or related freight services, where needed to calculate freight, book delivery, track delivery or resolve delivery issues.
- Payment providers such as Stripe if online payment is enabled.
- Email, website hosting, backup, security, database, analytics, development and business software providers used to operate and maintain the website.
- Professional advisers, insurers, regulators, law enforcement or dispute-resolution bodies where required or permitted by law.
Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate privacy and security controls.
How Long We Keep Information
- Draft carts: normally retained for 7 days from last activity, then expired and draft contact details are anonymised.
- Remembered contact details: retained until you clear them, opt out, the token expires, or the configured remember-details period ends. The current configured period is 180 days.
- Submitted quote and order requests: retained as business records for customer service, warranty, proof-of-purchase, accounting, tax, delivery and dispute-resolution purposes. We generally retain these records for at least 7 years unless a longer period is required or a shorter period is appropriate and lawful.
- Payment records: retained for accounting, reconciliation, refund, chargeback, fraud-prevention and legal purposes. Full card numbers and card security codes are not stored by this website.
- Support and order enquiry messages: retained while needed to answer the request, support the product, manage warranty or delivery issues, and maintain business records.
- Security and form logs: retained while needed for website security, spam prevention, troubleshooting, incident investigation and audit purposes.
Where information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy, de-identify or restrict it unless we are required or permitted to keep it.
How We Protect Information
- We use server-side storage for cart and contact details rather than storing personal information directly in browser storage.
- Cart and remembered-contact browser cookies use opaque tokens. Database token values are hashed.
- Admin areas are access controlled and public forms use validation, rate limiting, honeypots and spam-detection logging.
- Backups, hosting controls, access controls and audit logs are used to help maintain availability and security.
No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send credit card details or highly sensitive information by email or public forms.
Access, Correction and Deletion
You may ask us to provide access to personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, withdraw consent for reminders, clear remembered contact details, or ask whether information can be deleted or de-identified.
To protect customer information, we may need to verify your identity before changing or releasing information. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, warranty, fraud-prevention, delivery, dispute-resolution or operational reasons.

Marketing and Cart Reminders
We only send incomplete-cart reminder emails if you opt in. Each reminder should identify CAE Performance Products and provide a way to unsubscribe or ask us to stop. We will action unsubscribe requests as required by Australian spam laws.
Operational emails about quotes, orders, freight, delivery, warranty or support are separate from marketing messages and may still be sent where needed to process your request.
